About the Blog

Micro-Closet is a blog dedicated to curating fashion forward style in a small space.  It seems that most fashion bloggers have an unlimited amount of space, but if not, their closets must be overflowing.  This is not realistic, nor helpful, for those readers who have limited space and wish to have an organized closet.  However, unlike minimalist fashion blogs, Micro-Closet does not assign an arbitrary number of pieces to one’s wardrobe but encourages its readers to curate their style within the space they have. 

About the Authors

Micro-Closet is Claire and Hilary.  Claire is a licensed attorney who lives in small apartment in northern Idaho with a closet measuring 8’x4’x3’.  During the summer of 2016 while studying for the Idaho State Bar, Claire would de-stress by perusing fashion blogs and styling outfits.  She had so much fun, she asked her ever stylish sister, Hilary, to help her create a blog.  Hilary is an English teacher with her M.A. in History.  She lives in southern Germany, also in a small apartment, and has learned to keep her wardrobe confined to an armoire for the past 5 years.  While both sisters have similar taste and occasionally buy the same pieces, Claire’s style is more modern while Hilary’s is timeless.
